Darlene - Owner
Darlene joined Bluefish Swim Club as their Program Director from 2003-2020. The club has achieved USA Swimming’s prestigious honor of Excellence and has Gold Level recognition. Prior to that, Darlene was the owner of a local learn to swim program, named the Kids Club, from 1994- 2003. The club operated in four locations including our current location at the Holiday Inn - Taunton. In 1990, she initiated a children’s fitness programs for Healthtrax International, a local chain of health clubs. Darlene attended Bridgewater State College as a business major. Darlene brings 35 years experience working with children and over 32 years directing programs and instructing swimming. Her area of expertise lies in introducing children who are nervous in water. Darlene is excited to be back at the Holiday Inn - Taunton.
Our Instructors
Our instructors are a critical element in the success of our swimmers. The instructors at BlueFish at the Inn are well trained, professional and very enthusiastic. Their commitment and passion for teaching children and their love of swimming creates an environment where swimmers thrive and quickly progress. All instructors undergo a rigorous training program to ensure quality and consistency in all our lessons. All new instructors work closely with our experienced instructors before teaching lessons on their own. All instructors are both CPR and Lifeguard Certified.
